Supporting a Growing Ecosystem
Tamil Nadu’s proactive government policies and robust support systems have contributed to a rapidly growing startup ecosystem. The state has surpassed 21,000 startups, with over 8,866 DPIIT-registered ventures. The state’s initiatives, such as the StartupTN Chennai Hub and regional hubs in Coimbatore and Tiruchi, provide localized support and infrastructure to foster innovation.
Inclusive Growth and Global Reach
Inclusive support schemes like the Startup Grant Scheme for transgender and differently-abled founders ensure that the startup ecosystem is accessible to all. Additionally, the establishment of Global StartupTN Centers in Singapore and the USA helps Tamil Nadu startups tap into international markets, further driving growth and innovation.
A Bright Future
With initiatives like the TANSEED Fund and the Tamil Nadu SC/ST Startup Fund, the state is not only fostering innovation but also ensuring that growth is inclusive and sustainable. The upcoming Global Startup Summit in 2025 is expected to further enhance Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading startup destination.
